A little bit about me…

“Everyone has their strengths and their weaknesses, and it’s important to be aware of what you excel in and what you may need to work on.”

As an athletic performance coach and consultant, I’ve found that the highest performers share one thing: the ability to focus their attention on what matters most.

Peak performance is often about subtraction, removing those things that don’t matter to gain clarity on what does so you can get to the next level. And to achieve those goals, you’ll also need your behaviors to be congruent and consistent.

That’s where I come in: I help people align their attention and behaviors to maximize their output and results.

I am an advocate for personal growth and development. I am also a fan of struggle, failure, and risk because these are essential to the process of learning how to overcome; the ability to exchange what we are for what we could be. These are not my rules, difficulty always precedes progress and the only thing that keeps you on the path is your consistency to engage the process. This is not a matter of self-belief but rather the belief in what you’re doing is right for who you want to become.

There are moments in life where we look back at the adversity or struggle that change you for the better or change you for the worse. I’ve been an athlete my entire life. When I was 18 years old, I suffered a severe football injury that almost cost me the loss of my left leg. Against my doctor’s orders, I played the last two football games of the year and ended up having any scholarship offers or interest pulled. I really struggled with the injury because I felt like I lost my identity and my sense of self. I had always been an over-achiever and now I had an obstacle I couldn’t circumvent. I became so discouraged that I dropped out of high school because I didn’t think anyone would want me.

I ended up receiving a phone call from a coach at Union College who had seen me in one of my friend’s recruiting videos. I attended, but because of my injury, I was benched my freshman year and my coach encouraged me to spend time in the weight room building up my strength. That’s when I fell in love with weightlifting and the overall lifestyle. Over the next few years, I became well respected in the weight room and on the football team, and decided I wanted to build my career in the same industry. I applied and ended up accepting an internship at Yale where, in two years, I grew to the point of becoming the youngest NCAA division one strength coach. The rest, as they say, is history.

Performance isn’t about intensity and willpower, which can fade away—it’s rooted in the discipline of targeted behavior, consistently executed. When we work together, it’s not my job to convince you of this. Instead, I’ll pass along information to help you improve, empowering you to do the things you know you need to do but don’t, and motivate you to take action. When you act differently, you think differently, and that proactive mindset is the key to your success.

With me, there are no gimmicks. I’m a regular guy who works hard, walks the talk, and helps you do the same. At my core, I’m about execution—I get s*it done and have an insatiable drive to be better. I want what I do to matter, to make a positive impact in the lives of others.

I built Ranfone Training Systems in a 17,000 square foot location and brought in an amazing full-time staff to help me run it. Then COVID-19 changed everything. The way we work out. Who we interact with, and why. Gym culture suddenly changed, and we also had to evolve in order to adapt to the “new normal” while still delivering the quality Programs we have built our reputation upon.

We launched Ranfone Personal Consulting in September 2021. It’s a RESULTS GUARANTEED customized virtual training and wellness program with a sharp focus on coaching, accountability, and biochemistry to help clients achieve their health goals.

The algorithm that fuels Ranfone Performance Consulting’s platform is continuously refined, drawing from cutting-edge research and technological advances. By analyzing your blood, your DNA, your lifestyle, and your sleep and nutrition habits, we can advise you on how to live, look, age, and perform better.

For over 15 years, I’ve dedicated myself to improving the health, wellness, and performance of my clients, which include individuals, businesses, organizations, and collegiate and professional athletic teams.

And now I’d like to help you.
